I am a licensed psychotherapist with years of experience in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy working with adults, adolescents and children.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy alleviates emotional and behavioral symptoms while providing a multitude of coping strategies. The process of CBT helps keep the self in the present while gaining awareness of repeating patterns of thoughts and behaviors. My commitment in providing adults and adolescents with this service is to gently guide the individual so that change and healing can begin from within and pain can start to dissolve. I believe this empowers the person while restoring the connections between one’s mind and body. When I work with children, I utilize CBT Play Therapy to enhance the connection and provide ease for the child to process emotions and create behavioral change.
My approach stems from kindness and empathy and this builds a bridge to understanding and overcoming obstacles.
